NEXT LEVEL 3on3 BASKETBALL COMMUNITY

A New Tomorrow For Youth Basketball
Here is my vision for a new tomorrow concerning COVID-19 restrictions, and practicing social distancing with youth basketball. I want to create small training communities playing 3on3 together for a 6 week period, 3 games per night .
Playing 3on3 is fast pace, has less player's, for more touches, for more opportunities for more shots. Less players on defense creates more space to defend. Player's must learn how to defend man to man. No zone defenses, and no place to hide during this fast pace action. I am using analytics, and statistics to fuel the competition ranking players from 1 to 16, in 15 basketball categories.
We are practicing 'Social Distancing" by encouraging parents, and coaches to organize, and recruit their own 16 member team community of friends, and family members, they feel that are COVID-19 Free. We will keep each basketball communities together for a six week period, playing exclusively with each other. I believe we are taking the first steps to reopening by practicing social distancing with less players. We are keeping players contained in a six-week "Bubble" to help protect the spread, of this virus, we are promoting playing on outdoor courts.
I believe playing 3on3 is more beneficial for young player's development, less players, more space, more touches, for more more shots. More importantly less players promotes "Social-Distancing" for the reopening on a "New Tomorrow for Youth Basketball!"

TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVE MORE

Using Technology to Fuel Greatness!

"Stats Don't Lie!" I like using technology as a teaching tool to engage players in the learning process. I believe accountability is the secret sauce of coaching. I have been privileged to witness huge, quick changes because of it. We created a Next Level 3on3 Mobile App for our players complete with coaching points, computer animated plays, drills and game statistic. Now players can stay inform and updated on game high-lights, new play sets, and player's rankings right from their smart phones.
All games are videotaped and stats are taken on every player's. I find using video is an excellent tool to hold players accountable for lack effort and repeated mistakes. Of course taking the time to videotaped, and evaluate footage is time consuming, but the reward is it accelerates the learning curb for players when watching themselves on screen.
Finally, I found using statistics to rank players from 1 to 16, creates a competitive environment to be Number #1 each night, and earn "Baller Bucks" for their effort. But more importantly, statistic provides transparent communication between coach and player on getting better, and everyone knows where very one is ranked after each workout.

Practice Plan
Our 60-minute workout provides very little down time in between reps, and games. Our goal is to get as many shots up at game speed, with game pressure playing 3on3.
